About Tabaix Remove BG

A practical workspace for removing photo backgrounds and preparing images for your next design.

What we build

Tabaix Remove BG is an independent image editing tool by Tabaix. You can remove backgrounds, refine a cutout with erase and restore brushes, replace the background and download transparent PNGs. The batch workspace processes several images and packages completed results in a ZIP.

Editing on your device

The core editor processes images in your browser. You do not need an editing subscription or an account to use the core tools. Automatic removal downloads a model on first use, and performance depends on your browser and device.

Honest limits

Hair, glass, fine details and complex scenes may require manual refinement. Results are temporary until you download them. This app is not a full replacement for a layered desktop editor and exports images and Tabaix projects rather than editable PSD projects.

Independent software

Tabaix is not affiliated with Adobe, Canva or remove.bg. Optional direct Canva transfer requires a configured integration and your authorization. You can also download a PNG and upload it manually.

Background removal uses IMG.LY’s background removal library. Download this application’s source code.
